Marianne Peyton

Marianne Peyton
Legal Assistant

Marianne is a legal assistant who primarily handles estate planning and real estate matters. She has a degree in art history from West Virginia University. Marianne is also an excellent instructor in yoga and Pilates which she teaches as an adjunct professor at West Virginia State University. She is a mother of two and wife to Tom Peyton. Tom and Marianne were both raised in St. Albans, West Virginia where they met as teenagers.

Melody Matthews

Melody Matthews
Bookkeeper, Receptionist and Friend to All

Ms. Matthews makes sure that every call is routed correctly and that every caller is warmly welcomed and treated respectfully. As bookkeeper, Melody insists on accuracy and will answer all billing questions clearly and completely so that there is no confusion. She resides in Buffalo, West Virginia, and participates in all kinds of community projects, sports and church programs.

Sara is a 2013 magna cum laude graduate of West Virginia State University with a degree in accounting. She has worked at the firm more than 10 years and handles civil litigation claims. Sara resides in Hurricane, West Virginia with her son, Benjamin.

Jennifer Peyton

With more than 30 years of experience in the legal profession, Ms. Peyton is well-versed in writing and preparing profiles for case evaluation and answering questions for clients. Jennifer can be counted on to make sure that a client’s file is complete and in order so that their cases may proceed efficiently. She resides in Teays Valley, West Virginia, with her husband, Harvey Peyton.

Amber Gunnoe

Amber Gunnoe
Legal Assistant

Amber works primarily handling social security disability, auto accident and bodily injury claims. She started with the firm in 2019 after graduating summa cum laude (4.0 GPA) from Bridge Valley Community College with a degree in paralegal studies. Amber resides in St. Albans with her two children and husband, David.
